What a wonderful day to be heading off for a bike ride. I could feel the extra warmth in the sun this morning. The windows were opened, venetian blinds lowered to keep the heat out of my kitchen and washing hung on the line. I’d even put on my mountain bike shorts and exposed my “lily white legs” because it felt so warm. Great to be finally getting a good dose of vitamin D. Don’t you feel so alive and invigorated when the sun is shining and spring is in the air?
It felt good to be out again on my mountain bike – one of my happy places. Called into a friend’s place for coffee and freshly made muffins – of course strictly adhering to social distancing. Then off along the river trail to Ngaruawahia. I have never seen this trail/path so busy. There were countless families out enjoying the sunshine, some on their bikes, others walking or running. And dogs everywhere. And no I didn’t get wet, even though I saw dark clouds in the distance. Did miss not being able to visit the Breaking Bread Café in Ngaruawahia.
How did you spend today? Did you get a chance to get outside and enjoy the sunshine?

I’m pleased to hear that some of you cannot solve all the daily dingbats! These ones tonight are from a different source, good luck. Please note number three should read Polmomice, thank you Carol for pointing that out.
